1. NO FEE NECESSARY TO REGISTER OR WIN. All qualifying registrations must be received by 11:59:59 PM PT on December 31st 2012*. Tektronix Incorporated (Tektronix) is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, destroyed or illegible registrations. Chances of winning will depend on the number of registrations received.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to individuals who are 21 years of age or older at the time of product registration (upon verification of prize eligibility, misrepresentation of age requirement will void winning status), own Tektronix qualifying product(s) that have not been previously registered, and complete a registration form for each and are legal residents in the regional territories where Tektronix conducts business: (1) The Americas: North America, Central America and South America; (2) EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Asia); (3) APac (Asia Pacific). Void where prohibited by law. Promotion is subject to all applicable governmental laws and regulations, determined by the winner's country of origin.
Tektronix employees, distributors, resellers and contractors, their immediate families and persons living in the same households are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
By entering the Promotion, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Tektronix, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all damages, costs, expenses and other liabilities which may arise out of participation in the Program. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Tektronix being final and binding in all respects.
3. HOW TO REGISTER: A qualifying Tektronix product purchased by the registrant within 18 months of registration must be registered to qualify. To register a product, please visit http://www.tek.com/register. Any attempt to register a fictitious product that does not exist or that a registrant does not own or that has been previously registered will result in disqualification. The Promotion is an electronic random drawing. To enter the Promotion you must register using the Tektronix Product Registration form. Only one registration per product will be accepted.
Registrations will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of registration. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by a business/company, an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. All registrations become the property of Tektronix.
4. PRIZE(s) AVAILABLE: One (1) gift card from Amazon.com® in the amount of $250.00 USD. For a full description of Amazon.com's shipping and gift card policies, visit www.amazon.com. The prize includes insured shipping within the regional territories where Tektronix conducts business and will be paid for by Tektronix. If winner prefers, the gift card will be emailed to the winner. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes. Value does not include shipping. Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible registrations received. The prize is not transferable and no prize substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Tektronix reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.

5. PROMOTION DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION OF PRIZE WINNER: Tektronix will award prize(s) only upon winner verification. The random drawing will be held quarterly. Decisions by Tektronix of winner eligibility, notification, and acceptance or disqualification will be final and binding. Prize winners will receive prize notification by one of the following methods: telephone, email or certified mail.
If the selected winner has not complied with the Official Rules or, cannot be contacted, an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Tektronix to use winner's name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law. All information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Tektronix's privacy policy. All decisions of Tektronix shall be binding and final.
6. WINNER: Prize winners will receive prize notification by one of the following methods: telephone, email or certified mail. If the selected winner has not complied with the Official Rules or, cannot be contacted, an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Tektronix to use winner's name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law. 7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Tektronix is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human error, which may occur in processing registrations for the Promotion.
Tektronix is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable Website network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic.
Tektronix is not responsible for any delay, error, failure, problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of electronic mail or qualifying registrations due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to any registrant, registrant's computer or to any other computer related to or resulting from participation in, or downloading materials for, this Promotion. If for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Tektronix which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Tektronix reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
8. TAX INFORMATION: All taxes, fees, and surcharges on the prize won are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
9. GENERAL INFORMATION: Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the State of Oregon in the United States, exclusively, and subject to the laws of the State of Oregon. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Oregon and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Oregon.
10. FOR RESIDENTS OF CANADA ONLY: Selected registrants must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be awarded a prize. Selected entrant must sign a declaration of compliance with the contest rules and a release (including publicity release) to obtain the prize. Void in Quebec.
